GATE 2020 – IIT Delhi has started the procedure to challenge the GATE 2020 answer key. Candidates were able to raise objections against the answer key from February 19 to 21, 2020 (till 6 pm). After considering objections raised by the candidates, if any, the authorities will release the final answer key of GATE 2020. Earlier, the authorities have released the GATE answer key 2020 on February 18 on the official website. The question papers of GATE 2020 have also been released on February 17 while GATE 2020 response sheet was released on February 12. GATE 2020 exam was conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. A total of 858,890 students had applied for GATE 2020 for all the 25 subjects including a new subject – Biomedical Engineering. GATE is a computer based test for admission into M.E./M.Tech/PhD at the IITs, NITS, IIITs and CFTIs as well as for PSU recruitment. This year M.Tech seats through GATE 2020 will be higher on account of EWS quota. M.Tech counselling for IITs will be through COAP and for NITs as well as IIITs it will be through CCMT. PSU Recruitment through GATE 2020 has also been announced for some with the start of GATE registrations. Latest: GATE 2020 result will be declared on March 16.
Important: Candidates who registered for certification equivalent to B.E./B.Tech from any of the professional societies (IE/ICE/IETE/AeSI/IIChemE/IIM/IIE) after May 31, 2013 will also be eligible for GATE 2020. However, this eligibility will be provisional and further subjected to court orders
